Quinn Davis

Intern

Quinn Davis is a writer living in Ann Arbor, Mich. She is the award-winning editor of The Washtenaw Voice and writes for Damn Arbor, Ann Arbor’s fastest growing blog and Current’s Reader’s Choice winner for Best Local Blog of 2011. She is an alumna of Kalamazoo College where she majored in psychology and studied aspects of Thai and Burmese politics, agriculture, language and anthropology as they relate to sustainability in Thailand at the International Sustainable Development Studies Institute.

Davis volunteers with Ann Arbor’s Take Back the Night, where she gives her fellow survivors of sexual assault and their supporters a safe platform to congregate, speak out, fight back and raise awareness. She grew up in Traverse City, Mich., where she first developed an introspective relationship with her body through dance.

Her experiences abroad, as a dancer, as a survivor and simply as a person in society have contributed to her passion toward body acceptance. She is honored to work on The Illusionists with Elena Rossini to expose those that exploit and exacerbate body issues for profit.

Rachel Interns

Rachel Lunt

Intern

Rachel has worked over the years as a workshop facilitator, Flower Essence Therapist, Healthcare consultant and Life-style Guide. A keen observer, her experience working with others has led her to an understanding of the negative effects a toxic society can have on us on all levels.

She is currently living in France, writing, wandering the hills taking photographs with her dog, home schooling her 4 children, creating workshops for young women on Body Acceptance and The Beauty of Diversity, being enthusiastic about life and not conforming.

She follows her unconventional path through life with sensitivity and passion and eyes full of wonder at the beauty of Nature…encouraging and enabling a healthy sustainable lifestyle for her family and her community.

Rachel is pleased to add her sensitivity, maturity and experience to The Illusionists’ team!
