We’re thrilled when some of our favorite people get together to promote positive body image. Case in point: this upcoming event hosted by the Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Pratt, featuring acclaimed author and body image expert Susie Orbach.
The Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Pratt became a partner and sponsor of The Illusionists this month (find out more about them here). And Susie Orbach will have a very important role in our documentary: we’re planning to feature footage from her conference Endangered Species in the film and next month we’ll travel to London to sit down with her for an interview. So, imagine our excitement when we found out about this event.
Susie will speak at Sheppard Pratt, in Towson, Maryland on October 2nd. Her talk is titled: “Navigating Body Anxiety and Finding Body Confidence.” The event is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
