My father just sent me this video about a software technology called MovieReshape that allows editors to change the body shape/proportions of actors on video.
Height, weight, breast and waist girth, leg length and muscularity are some of the elements that can now be easily manipulated.
I hope this won’t be adopted too quickly by Hollywood and the TV industry, populating our screens with even more idealized (and unreal) bodies.
